Beberapa hari sebelum Acara Debat Kandidat ada berita menarik. Penjabat Bupati Manggarai ingin melakukan peminjaman uang sebesar Rp. 250M untuk pembenahan infrastruktur jalan dan bandara di kabupaten Manggarai. Langkah ini cukup mengejutkan! Seorang penjabat yang hanya bekerja dalam tempo 3 bulan berani berpikir besar untuk kesejahteraan rakyat Manggarai.

Mengapa disebut berani? Jawabannya sederhana: kita tidak menunggu aliran dana regular sebagai pemberian pusat. Sony Libing selaku Penjabat Bupati Manggarai dalam konteks ini adalah seorang pemimpin yang melihat kebutuhan masyarakat Manggarai dan memberikan solusi bagi pemecahan masalah infrastruktur. Jika menunggu APBD, kapan tempo? Selebihnya, bisa jadi tindakan ingin meminjam uang bagi pembangunan daerah ini adalah koreksi atas pola kepemimpinan Deno-Madur (DM) yang selama ini cenderung dinilai “menunggu saja”kebaikan Pemerintah Pusat (Pempus) tanpa usaha alternative.

Memang, ini yang ditunggu dari setiap calon kepala daerah. harus ada Inovasi untuk mendukung pembangunan daerah. permendagri 90 tahun 2020, tuntutan inovasi menjadi hal yang wajib dilaksanakan. terjadinya perubahan RPJMD NTT saat ini, merupakan hal yang segera dan saat ini sudah dilakukan melalui Bappelitbangda NTT. sejalan dengan perkembangan Global, Inovasi menjadi tuntutan mutlak.
